General Task Library

The General Task Library contains instructions for a number of tasks that you need to know in order to manage any website.  For example, how do you re-size all those amazing images you took with your digital camera?  They are like HUGE and you know you can’t put them directly on your website before resizing.  Or, what if you need to transfer files directly to your server?  How do you do that?

Well, you’ll learn that and much more.

The General Task Training Library consists of two main areas: FAQs and the Screen Cast Tutorials.

The Screen Cast Tutorials are organized by task and walk you through general tasks that are necessary to maintain any website.

The FAQs area is the place to go if you have question that isn’t covered in the main screen cast tutorials. You can submit your question and I will answer usually within 24 hours. If you ask a “How To” question, it will be answered by a brief textual intro as well as a screen cast that will walk youthrough the steps required to perform the task.
